Boaz Huss is a professor of Jewish thought at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His research interests include history of Kabbalah, Western esotericism, New Age culture, and new religious movements. At the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute he was the academic director of the research group Political Aspects of New Age Culture, in collaboration with Dr. Rachel Werczberger, in 2010–2012, and he is currently the director of the research group New Religious Movements in Israel, in collaboration with Dr. Adam Klin Oron and Dr. Rachel Werczberger.
