A meeting with Prof. Asya Rolls |
Moderated by Prof. Oren Harman
Can thought change the course of a physical illness and have a real effect on health? The mind–body question has many aspects. In modern medicine it is manifested in phenomena such as the placebo effect or physical illnesses that follow emotional crises. How, then, does one connect the spiritual and the physical, the spirit and the illness, will power and the healing process? In a conversation with the neuroimmunologist Prof. Asya Rolls we will learn how to approach philosophical questions by means of biological tools and we will ask whether someday we will be able to realize our internal potential for healing.
