Eyal Efron
Coordinator of public events
Eyal is the coordinator of public events at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute. His duties include being responsible for the Institute’s mailing list and giving guided tours of the VLJI campus. Off campus he is a teacher of movement, a movement therapist, an entrepreneur, and an inventor in the field of digital analysis of movement. He composes movement works using the Eshkol-Wachman movement notation system and he is the founder and, since the 1980s, the facilitator of the Slil Framework group, which performs his compositions. Eyal is a graduate of movement and movement notation at Tel Aviv University and at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he also taught. He established a preschool with mainstreaming of children with special needs. He founded and operated a computerized graphics studio and taught this field in a high school and at Camera Obscura. He was also a product manager at a startup company that developed a computer mouse for blind people and an entrepreneur in the field of motion digitization.
