Maor Cohen

Academic director of Intellectual Journeys

A graduate of the Amirim Interdisciplinary Programme in the Humanities and the Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) programs at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a teaching assistant at the university. His fields of interest are the development of the concept of “impartiality” in the early modern period and the role of “experiential knowledge” in ethical theory and political philosophy. In recent years he has filled various roles in the Israeli Congress, the Blend.Ar organization, the Jewish Agency, and the Noam Youth Movement. In his various positions Maor worked extensively on building ties between different parts of Israeli society and education for complexity.
