This brief essay examines the barriers and possibilities on the way to love in the world of coronavirus. A theological reading of love, based on the words of Paul in the First Epistle to the Corinthians, indicates a possibility to live in a world where the self and the other are redefined. A poem by American poet Tony Hoagland opens a horizon to such love.
