מה בא אחרי הקולוניאליזם ההתיישבותי? דה־קולוניזציה כשאלה עיונית ומעשית

איך נראית דה-קולוניזציה של קולוניאליזם התיישבותי? המאמר בוחן מחדש את הקשר בין הקולוניאליזם ה"קלאסי" והקולוניאליזם ההתיישבותי ומאתגר את התפיסה הבינארית בין מתיישבים וילידים. את הקולוניאליזם ההתיישבותי נבקש לחשוב כמצב מאורגן של "התגוררות אלימה" (violent dwelling): מנגנון של מונופול על הזכות לבנות בית, אישי או לאומי, על תחושת הבית ועל השאלה "מי בעל הבית" – תוך שלילת הזכויות הללו מהאוכלוסייה הילידית. 

בישראל/פלסטין מתקיימות במקביל תצורות שונות של קולוניאליזם התיישבותי. לפיכך נציע כי יש לחשוב גם על דה־קולוניזציה שאינה אחת. יהיה עליה להיות מערערת (unsettling) ומיישבת (settling) בעת ובעונה אחת: במקביל לשינוי הכרחי של תפיסת האזרחות, החקיקה והמבנה המרחבי ביישובים ובמרחב הציבורי המשותף, יהיה עליה ליישב סוגיות של פיצויים ושל היסטוריה לא־שוויונית על מנת ליישב אנשים יחד וליצור תחושת בית, ביטחון ועתיד עבור שתי האוכלוסיות. דווקא כעת, כאשר מאות אלפי בתים בישראל/פלסטין הרוסים עד היסוד, שרופים, מחוללים או לא בטוחים למגורים, המחשבה על בית מאפשרת לחשוב מחדש על התנאים ההכרחיים לביטחון אונטולוגי, לעתידיות וליצירת מרחב שבו יש לשתי האוכלוסיות מקום במובנו העמוק – מרחב המאפשר לשאוף לסיום ההתגוררות האלימה, ולא לסופם של הילידים והמתיישבים גם יחד.
