עבד במכון עד שנת 2021

גלעד בוגר תואר ראשון בהצטיינות בהיסטוריה כללית ובפסיכולוגיה מהאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ובעל תעודת הוראה. כיום לומד לתואר שני בחוג להיסטוריה של עם ישראל ויהדות זמננו באוניברסיטה העברית ומלגאי של בית ספר מנדל לחוקרים מצטיינים במדעי הרוח. גלעד מתרגל ומלמד באוניברסיטה את הקורס "מגמות בכתיבה היסטורית". בעבר לימד יהדות ותרבות ישראל, פסיכולוגיה והיסטוריה במסגרות שונות והשתתף במגוון פעילויות התנדבות אזרחיות. במכון ון ליר גלעד מנהל את קהילת הבוגרים של התוכנית "מסעות דעת" והוא חונך ומתרגל בתוכנית זו בחודשי הקיץ. הוא משמש גם עוזר מחקר ומפתח פרויקטים בתמת קדושה, דת וחילון.
