The seminar will focus on strategies and methods for enhancing and
encouraging reading with pre-school children in different settings
among minority groups and disadvantaged communities. Focusing on the
potential of reading to promote children’s wellbeing and
scholastic achievements, the seminar will contribute to promoting
the quality of early childhood education in diverse,
multi-cultural societies. Participants in the seminar are invited
to share experiences, discuss strategies to encourage reading with
pre-school children, and explore steps for future collaboration.
